What is clinical reflexology?
Clinical reflexology is a non-invasive complementary therapy, which works alongside conventional medical care, triggering the bodies own healing mechanisms and helping the body to rebalance and harmonise.
How does reflexology work?
Clinical Reflexology works on the principle that the feet and hands have reflexes that correspond to all the bodily systems and organs, by stimulating these reflexes the treatment can kickstart the bodies healing, restore balance and aid wellbeing.
Who is reflexology for?
Reflexology is suitable for all ages, from babies to the elderly, maintaining good health and can bring balance.
Every treatment can be adapted and tailored to an individual’s needs.
What to expect from an appointment?
Our first appointment will comprise of taking a medical and lifestyle questionnaire, giving a greater understanding of your health and what you are hoping to gain from the treatments.
A full investigatory reflexology treatment will be carried out, working on your whole body systems, on your feet or hands by applying pressure with my thumbs and fingers.
Following this, coupled with the medical and lifestyle questionnaire and any imbalances found during the treatment, a specific treatment plan will be written for you personally, which will be carried out with any follow up appointments. This can be constantly adapted and amended, always with the aim to meet your needs and putting your health at the centre.
